GVG is leading a consortium of German, French and Spanish partners that has been entrusted by the Directorate General for Development and Cooperation of the European Commission (EuropeAid) with the implementation of a 3-years technical assistance facility in support to social protection systems and reforms in partner countries of the EU worldwide. This facility named “SOCIEUX - Social Protection European Union Expertise in Development Cooperation“ has been supporting the implementation of individual actions on demand of middle and low income countries since its official start in October 2013.

The implementation of the facility relies on the participation of experts from social protection administrations and bodies of the EU Member States interested in short-term missions in partner countries. Experts on mission are continuously supported by the SOCIEUX team in all aspects of their mission.
